Hello friends in Denver County! I hope your summer is going well. I have some exciting news that will benefit Denver County Human Services clients. The Mile High Council on Mental Health and Substance Abuse last Friday merged with the Comitis Crisis Center. Comitis is a 72 bed housing program located on the Fitzsimons Medical Center in Aurora; we are located behind Children’s Hospital. The Council now offers the following emergency and therapeutic services at our Aurora location,
emergency shelter to adolescent our 24 bed RCCF, open you girls and boys 12 to 18
emergency shelter to families and women and short term transitional housing 36 bed
emergency shelter to single men and short term transitional housing 14 bed
out patient mental health and substance abuse treatment, case management
emergency food baskets and hygiene needs including pampers
24 hour crisis line
we are a Signal Network Provider
