THREE GREAT FUNDRAISERS FOR EAST THAT DON'T COST YOU A CENT!!!
1. When you shop at Albertson's, swipe a card and East gets a percentage of each sale!!! Quick, easy, and no cost to you! You can pick up the swipe cards at Back to School Night, Thursday, August 27.
2. When you shop at Safeway now through September 15, East will get a percentage of the sale! Look for special 10% Goes Back to Schools price tags throughout the store. Use your Club card to buy those items. Go on the backtoschools.escrip.com website and type in East High School. East gets a whopping 10% of the price of each of those items!
3. When you shop at Office Depot (for any items: office or school, all year round), be sure to tell the cashier that you want credit to go to East High School. That's it! They'll punch in a code for East High and the school gets money back from your purchase!

The Student Assistance Fund is accepting donations of any and all books. There is always a need for AP text books in addition to books from Lit classes. Clean out your shelves before the new books for this year come home. We are in particular need of the following titles: The Great Gatsby; The Crucible; Othello; Raisin in the Sun; The Tipping Point; Blink; and Tortilla Curtain; Always Running; House on Mango Street.
