Goodwill will be hosting a Career Invest Workshop for students who are graduating this year as well as students who will be seniors next year. The Career Invest Workshop will teach the students the important values needed to be successful in the workplace. The five competencies we will be focusing on are professionalism, team work/collaboration, oral/written communication, work ethics/responsibility, and critical thinking/problem solving. They will learn these essential values through creating their own business and presenting it at a networking luncheon . The workshop could lead to some great job shadowing and internship opportunities.
